Unlocking Growth is a Growth Consultancy that partners with Startups and Corporates alike to leverage modern day tools to drive the Customer Journey and empower teams to experiment and iterate on the Customer Journey without developer involvement.

Our founders have been working at the coal face of startups and corporates in the US for the last decade and have returned to Australia to inject their world-leading Customer Journey Methodology into companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

What we do

Product-Led Growth approaches are gaining greater momentum, especially in the startup world, but implementing these approaches isn’t just about adding an onboarding checklist.  It requires the right Tools, Data Architecture and Organisational approaches and that’s where Unlocking Growth comes in.

Growth Specialist (Contract)

Location: Remote

Rates: Commensurate with experience

As we deal with explosive growth, we’re looking for someone to join our team and learn our ways to become an industry-leading driver of growth.

Partnering with the key leaders of Unlocking Growth, you will be working with clients to execute growth strategies, which covers data plumbing, understanding analytics, defining ideas and experiments, building growth strategies and executing ideas across the domains of marketing, product, sales and customer success.

To be successful in this role you need to be a self-starter and have a passion and dedication to continued self-learning and development on technical, strategic and personal grounds. You will be used to questioning the status quo and be excited to implement more elegant solutions that bring efficiencies and empowerment to your clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll be a key consultant with our clients, respectfully showcasing your expertise and guiding them to build great growth campaigns.
  • You’ll be hands-on across all facets of growth projects. You will have a hand in driving the execution and ultimately, planning the strategy for driving growth in clients.
  • You will wear many hats, which is typical for a growth leader. You will be responsible for adding user-tracking tagging onto various parts of the user journey, through no-code/low-code tools, analysing the data coming through from user behaviour, defining tracking dashboards, brainstorming and ideating ways to improve customer experience and then building out user-engagement campaigns to test and improve the customer experience.

Your Background/Experience

  • Tertiary education in any type of technical degree
  • Big picture thinker (systems-level thinking), with an eye for detail

  • Technical Skills including software development, HTML, JSON, APIs
  • Customer Data Platforms like Segment
  • Low code Integration tools like Zapier & Integromat

  • Subscription Billing Implementation using tools like Stripe, Recurly, or Chargify
  • Product Management
  • Analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel
  • Experimentation and A/B Testing tools and approaches
